A nice description of self-sustained life,
i.e., bringing the stress free work culture of Sourashtra community people living in Tamilnadu (mostly the place may be Madurai or Paramakudi).
Work / Profession of Sourashtra people was handloom weaving once upon a time, total family members used to involve in that work, meeting the target of weaving (making sarees, dhoti, etc.,).
some technical details about weaving:
நெசவுக்கலை - weaving (most of the time it indicates handloom weaving)
பாவு நீட்டிய - ('paavu niittudhal' means spreading the thread for weaving, in the early moring they will spread the thread for weaving which is very long, mostly covering the full lenght of the street, and prepare it for weaving)
